The founder of DesignResources, Howard Mack, began his career in 1978 in the Antenna Division at Scientific-Atlanta.

His next 15 years were spent designing antenna mounts, pedestals, positioners, and feed systems for Scientific-Atlanta, SatCom Technologies, Radiation Systems, and M/A-Com Prodelin.

During the late 1980's Howard began building PC CAD workstations for use in the early days of 3D AutoCAD. Taking advantage of AutoLISP, AutoCAD's internal programming language, he began writing custom apps to automate routine AutoCAD tasks. That experience led to developing applications to automate entire design processes.

As an instructor he's conducted AutoCAD, AutoLISP, and 3D Modeling training classes for Authorized Training Centers, Community Colleges, Georgia Tech and engineering design groups.

Howard has used his years of experience to build DRCI into a leading source for Mechanical & Machine Design and CAD Management solutions.
